Chromatography Flowers

September 12th, 2026

Chromatography is the separation of a mixture by passing a solution through a medium. In this exciting workshop, we will be demonstrating this occurrence through using it to dye coffee filters. The dyed coffee filters can be twisted into beautiful flowers, which participants will be able to take home!

Robotic Hand

October 24th, 2026

In this workshop, participants will create an accurate replica of their hand using paper, straws, and string. These materials will be used to imitate the phalanges in our hands that allow for its necessary function. Through this activity, attendees will learn about the body as well as how it functions.

Eggshell Chalk

November 7th, 2026

What has the same key ingredient as the fun chalk that you use to draw on the sidewalk? Eggshells! In this experiment, we are teaching attendees how to repurpose their old eggshells to make an eco-friendly chalk. They will be able to make their own and bring it home to try out!
