Have you ever wondered about the animals that you hear at a pond in the summer? Well, in this workshop, we are teaching participants about the lifecycle of frogs! We will simulate the major stages of a frog's life, starting from a small egg to an adult. Through this experiment, kids can observe closely how a frog develops and also their major role in our environment.
Believe it or not, the red cabbage that you eat serves as a great pH indicator! In this workshop, we will be teaching participants all about pH. Then, we will be testing the acidity or basicity of everyday household items, such as baking powder, lemon, and vinegar, using red cabbage as an indicator.
Chromatography is the separation of a mixture by passing a solution through a medium. In this exciting workshop, we will be demonstrating this occurrence through using it to dye coffee filters. The dyed coffee filters can be twisted into beautiful flowers, which participants will be able to take home!
