In a collaborative workshop with She Builds the Future, we will be giving participants each tin-foil and pennies. Within a limited amount of time, they will be encouraged to design a tin-foil boat to hold as many pennies as they can when placed in water! In addition to using a hands on activity to learn about the engineering design process, we will also be teaching kids about density in relation to water.
