In many movies, invisible ink is often portrayed as this magical substance that is used to write hidden messages. But, this ink actually exists in real life too! In this exciting workshop, participants will be able to follow an interactive activity to figure out how and why invisible ink works. They'll discover more about physical and chemical changes and learn how to apply these concepts to the real world.
In this experiment, participants will be able to create snow- in April! They will use cornstarch, shaving cream, and other materials to form a playdough like substance that had a texture similar to that of real snow. Through the workshop, they will be educate on the science of surface tension and mixtures, an important concept that affects everyone's lives today.
